Standing in Line (Unpaid) for the First SCOTUS Gay Marriage Argument

Long(er than usual) time in the cold
It took much longer than usual to be let inside -- I didn't get inside until well after 8 am. So more than 3 hours in the cold.
Just barely got in -- others weren't so lucky.
I got in the "bar" line about 5 am. I initially was directed to the lawyers lounge (Room 111). Nine people from the lawyers lounge got in to the argument. I was number 8.
A lot of actual bar members who stood in the cold for hours were not able to see the argument because of the *#@? paid line standers who were not members of the Supreme Court bar.

Going to bed early to get up early
I will be going to be early so I can get up really early (how early? not tellin'!) for tomorrow's gay marriage argument. I will be posting pictures and observations tomorrow a.m.
Happy Passover!
